Unsettling footage has emerged after a man discovered a hidden underground 'safe house' bunker while exploring an abandoned chemical lab.

The footage shows the man exploring underground rooms and tunnels that lead to an elite safe house, which could be bunkers specifically designed for World War III

In a caption within the clip, the man says: “This bunker was semi-converted into storage space for old equipment and materials of the chemical laboratory above.

“Getting into the tunnel wasn't easy as I had to sneak past cameras, but the tunnel was in a remote part of the building.”

Manufacturers of underground 'doomsday' bunkers have seen a huge increase in sales following the North Korea tensions and US strikes in Syria. Billionaires have already begun to buy up islands and luxury underground bunkers in preparation for a nuclear attack.

DailyStar reports: While wandering around the outskirts of an abandoned chemical lab, the inquisitive adventure discovered a series of tunnels leading to a safe house.

The bizarre collection of underground rooms has been totally abandoned and along with it various items of clothing and supplies.

But the place was also fully stocked with gas masks, a chilling indication that the underground maze had been created to protect against a devastating attack.

In a caption alongside the clip, the man says: “This bunker was semi-converted into storage space for old equipment and materials of the chemical laboratory above.

“Getting into the tunnel was’t easy as I had to sneak past cameras, but the tunnel was in a remote part of the building.”

The eerie five-minute clip – posted to YouTube – ends with the man sitting down in one of the blacked out rooms with only his torch light to guide him back to safety.

The man explores various abandoned and uninhabited buildings for his YouTube channel, shiey.

Viewers have been stunned by the creepy footage, with one saying: “You found three safe houses all filled with gas masks. I think WW3 is near.

Another person said: “Props to you man, I would have fainted from fear before I got to the first room.”
