CNN Cuts Bernie Sanders Off For Joke About Fake News During Interview
Made the joke after watching a clip of President Trump
During an interview with CNN news, Bernie Sanders made a joke about the network being "fake news" after they played him a clip of Donald Trump, at which point the feed was immediately cut.
The senator was being asked about General Flynn's talks with Russia before the President took office.

After being shown a clip of Mr. Trump saying he was unaware of the reports, Sanders was asked if he thought that was a problem, to which he responded;
"Well I don’t know. Maybe he was watching CNN fake news. What do you think?"
After an awkward silent response from CNN’s Erin Burnett, he added, "It was a joke".
The clearly uncomfortable reporter tries to move the questioning forward and replies with;
“I, I know it was a joke…I’m saying you don’t buy what he said obviously”
At this point, the feed has been clearly cut, with Bernie Sanders continually asking, "Are we on?", before they quickly cut to a commercial break.
Last month, President Trump famously branded CNN as "fake news" during his first official press conference since taking office in response to questions about the uncorroborated dossier about him that the network reported on.
The president then went on to blacklist CNN from all future White House press events.
Since then, CNN's viewing figures have plummeted.
