Drama and reality combine in a fictitious 24 hours in the life of musician and cultural icon Nick Cave.

Nick Cave, an Australian songwriter, poet, composer, and screenwriter. And now actor, sort of. The film '20,000 Days On Earth' has already won best Directing, and Editing awards this year at Sundance, and has wowed fans and critics alike at its preview screenings.

The synopsis for the film reads; “Drama and reality combine in a fictitious 24 hours in the life of musician and cultural icon Nick Cave. With startlingly frank insights and an intimate portrayal of the artistic process, the film examines what makes us who we are and celebrates the transformative power of the creative spirit.”

If the reviews and accolades are mounting up before its release, it may well deliver. And is Nick Caves track record is anything to go by, I think we can all sleep easy in knowladge that it will. Screening at various film festivals until its worldwide release later this year. You can view the website here and watch the first official clip below.
