Some more celebrity twitter madness for you today. Gigwise reported that Grimes, the CEO of Nazgulfaery Enterprises, tweeted early this morning his views on Ariel Pink’s Madonna trolling. He labelled the producer sexist and “delusional” for his comments regarding working with Madonna in a recent interview with Faster Louder.

In the interview Ariel Pink claims he was asked to produce for the ‘Material Girl’ to help her in her new sonic direction: “I’m partly responsible for that return-to-values thing.” He goes on to express how he feels that Madonna is just looking for new producers to help her "pretend that she's 20 years old".

Grimes hit back at Ariel Pink’s unsavoury comments tweeting:

But Ariel Pink isn’t the only one who thinks Madonna has a complex about ageing, New York writer Michael Musto previously penned a controversial letter to the pop icon urging her to embrace her age and stop obsessing “on younger acts as a way to keep a fresh allure about yourself.”

The letter, which comes across as a tad bitter, also discusses Madonna “accessorizing” her children in the public eye for attention and needing more age-appropriate boyfriends and outfits. With comments like these, perhaps Grimes has a point about misogyny and ageism in the music industry.

Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary also commented on Ariel Pink’s interview, stating that: "@madonna and I have never heard of @arielxpink. The label may have reached out but M has no interest in working with mermaids". Yikes, I guess Ariel Pink will think twice before slating Madge again.
